Season’s Greetings to you!
I have a free yoga video to share with you. This 40 minute practice can help with opening up to forgiveness and is wonderful to practice anytime you feel open to forgiveness or processing emotions.
This krya (a.k.a. kriya, kry) helps me forgive our cat for attacking me when I brought a dog over (it’s ok you can laugh). It helps me let go of those charged feelings of anger and resentment for snarky comments my boss made. It is helping me heal childhood trauma and see my parents and past situations in a new light, helping me to feel lighter.
What might you be willing to forgive and free yourself from?
Practicing this krya often brings up tears for me. Crying is a form of alchemy and freeing yourself from the weight of holding on to hurt. Letting go of hurt does not mean you are welcoming more pain. Freeing yourself from holding on to pain opens you up to be available for more good experiences as well the ability to see the truth and reality in a situation rather than a past projection.
Kundalini Yoga involves breathwork, meditation, chanting and singing, and the postures are often held statically or a move is repeated for minutes at a time. In this video, we are gentle and each move is around a minute or 2 in time, with rest periods and a 3 minute singing meditation to conclude. Have you tried Kundalini Yoga before? It is a bit different than what you might be used to seeing in a studio yoga class. It can really get your energy bodies moving!
Always feel free to take breaks and modify the practice to best suit and serve you.
This Kriya of Forgiveness was created by Guru Singh. I will lead you in the video.
